About FilePrint
Since the creation of the Gutenburg press, print has changed very little. Even with the introduction of a new breed of digital print engines that could match the traditional lithographic print for quality, things still did not change. This was because print is a very conservative business that is slow to grasp new technologies. Traditional printers use a process that is slow, requires a lot of user effort and long runs to be cost effective. FilePrint recognized that by harnessing the web, better processes and the new print engines, that costs could be slashed and even more importantly that it is possible to print just one copy. Our mission is to revolutionise the print industry, creating distinct value for our customers and partners, not only by offering an innovative technical solution, but also by enabling new business models and processes, making an impact on both operational costs and strategic thinking and the industry's overall culture. Our mission is not only to fulfil existing markets for print, but also to open markets for print that previously did not exist, and to achieve this by simplifying the submission of documents and also by reducing printing costs through automated and therefore 'touch-free' processes.
